Tyres

We have a tried and tested commercial arrangement with our local mobile tyre specialist, Paul Hancock.

Paul can supply and fit any tyre, veteran, vintage, classic, performance, commercial or daily driver.

All work is carried out on site. However, by arrangement, Paul will come to your home or place of work to repair or replace your tyres

A fixed price for the replacement tyre, balancing and new valve will be provided and once accepted the replacement tyre can normally be fitted the next working day. A same day service is available for emergencies.

Diagnostics

Nowadays modern vehicles have more in keeping with laptops than the internal combustion of old.

However, by using our state of the art diagnostic equipment we can help from cancelling a servicing light, tracking a faulty EGR valve (exhaust gas recirculation) or intermittent ECU (engine control unit).

Our trained mechanics use Solus Ultra and Launch X431 Pro3.

For new or nearly new vehicles we have access to the latest main dealer diagnostic equipment. This service is by appointment.

Valeting

We have a contract with a local valeting company so we can cater for all your vehicle preparation requirements.

All our valeting is carried out on Thursday of every week. However, special requirements and specific dates can be accommodated by appointment.

Body shop & Commercial Painters

Accidents happen and as part of the Fisher Restoration Group, Kidderminster MOT customers have the full facilities of Fisher Restoration Body Shop Limited (FRB) available to them.

Insurance work.

We undertake all manner of insurance work. However, due to the facilities and unique expertise we have within the Fisher Restoration Group we ideally suited for the more unusual claim – vintage car, articulated lorry, heavy plant equipment, horse box or coach.

That said, we also undertake accident damage, resprays and minor repairs to your daily driver.

Replacement panels

Replacement panels are readily available to us from all major manufacturers. However, if you not wish to replace the panel, FRB should be able to repair it.

Painting

At FRB we have two 60’ heated spray ovens and a conventional 28’ heated oven. We believe that there is no paint job we cannot undertake. From a scratched wing mirror, car colour change, up to a full re-paint of a 40’ articulated truck and trailer.

Welding

From cutting out corrosion and welding a repair section and more. Steel, aluminium, brass or stainless steel. We have the facilities in house to help. Contact us for a quote.

Fleet Servicing

Cars

Running a fleet of cars can bring up a host of problems, representatives and support staff off the road, breakdowns, servicing schedules, regular maintenance. As, a family run business, we understand all this cost time and money. Kidderminster MOT have the facilities and experience to help you.

We can work to your timings, often turning vehicles around after they have returned from the daily commitment.

Your vehicle is collected from your place of work or member of staff’s home address. Work carried out and the vehicle returned within agreed time scales.

Light Commercials

With our sister company, CVR Commercial Vehicle Repairs, we have a wealth of knowledge working to tight deadlines and budgets on commercial vehicles.

To minimise down time vehicle requirements are identified prior to collection (where possible), parts are ordered, work scheduled and engineer/mechanic allocated.

Once all of this is in place a collection date and time is arranged. Work completed and vehicle returned.

Air Conditioning

The common belief is automotive air conditioning is used solely to cool the vehicle during the warm summer months, and the system therefore lies dormant for long periods of time. However, your air conditioning system is equally as effective at heating your vehicle in the cold winter months.

Therefore, regular servicing will prevent buildup of unpleasant odors and reduce the chance of harmful bacteria as well as keeping your climate control system working as the manufacturer intended.

In addition, an efficient air conditioning system will keep fuel costs down and help avoid the onset of throat and allergic reactions. An in-car climate system working correctly will help avoid driver fatigue.

An air conditioning service from Kidderminster MOT will replace any leaked refrigerant gas, check and replace any filters. If required, we will run an antibacterial clean. We also have the facilities to upgrade your car’s system. If your vehicle is running the now obsolete R12 we can convert it to R134. Estimates available on request.
